Kati Vasti

Kati Vasti is a local treatment used for lower back problems.  The patient lies on his stomach and a ring of dough made of gram flour is applied to the area to be treated, into which specially prepared warm medicated oil is then poured. The treatment lasts between 35 and 60 minutes, during which time the oil is changed regularly, as the temperature should remain almost constant.

Indication:
Kati Vasti is used to treat lower back pain, disc prolapse, sciatica or premature ejaculation.
