Njavara Kizhi

Njavara Kizhi is a massage performed synchronously by two therapists. A special rice from Kerala (njavara stands for a rice that ripens in 60 days) is cooked in a herbal milk decoction and then wrapped in cloths. With the very warm boluses (kizhi) the whole body, which was oiled before, is massaged vigorously.
Special attention is paid to the muscle tissue and the joints. During the treatment, the boluses are repeatedly heated in the milk-herbal decoction. The treatment takes 45 to 70 minutes.

Indication:
Njavara Kizhi is very nourishing for the whole body and gives the skin a natural glow. The treatment is used for nerve weakness and nerve degeneration, monoplegia, multiple sclerosis, stroke, muscular atrophy, general weakness and high blood pressure.
